Iron core linear motor DM Series is designed to provide the highest force density in the linear motor applications. Unlike conventional iron core motors, DM motors have dual magnet track to balance magnetic attraction forces and to remove any forcer magnetic preload from the bearings. This feature provides for quite operation with smaller linear bearings without concern for bearing life. Linear motor magnetic structure of the forcer also optimized to provide low cogging. Forcer have thermal sensors in a compact structure as well as Hall-effect sensors and can be provided with water cooling option. These motors are ideal in applications to move large payloads without effecting bearing life. Magnet tracks are stackable for any travel length. |
