Iron core LC (LO-COG) Series
linear motors are designed to provide a lower cost and
lower profile alternatives to conventional linear motor applications.
Unlike conventional iron core motors, LC motors feature very low cogging
force (0.5%) which make them suitable to replace core-less motors, providing much higher power densities. The moving forcer coil
assembly contains Hall-effect and thermal sensors in a compact
structure. LC linear motors also feature smaller attraction forces as
compared to conventional iron core motors. These motors are ideal in
applications requiring high level of positioning resolution and
accuracy. Magnet tracks are stackable for any travel length. LC linear motors
are suitable for clean room applications as they produce no particles.
